The website and brand dentistadvice is run and owned by Denzil Media LLP.

As an idea, the dentistadvice website concept was conceived, planned and developed by David Crosbie who has been practising as a dentist in England since 1989, together with Mike Handley who has twenty years of marketing communications experience through the Handley Partnership (www.handleypartnership.com). David realised that he was often too busy doing normal dental work and looking after patients' needs to fully answer some of the questions which patients asked after treatment. He built his own website to help overcome the problem. In conversation, Mike Handley admired the site - and talking with David they soon realised that if the site could be expanded, it would be something which a lot of other dentists would want to use too. The dentistadvice idea was born and now it is used by dentists throughout Britain to help answer patients' questions and to keep people better informed about dental health issues in general.

The character "Denzil the Dentist" who appears throughout the site is protected by copyright and is the subject of a registered Trade Mark owned by Denzil Media.
